Offering body-positive, accessible yoga workshops and trainings at your studio
Accessible yoga makes asana practice available to everyone who comes to the mat. Knowing how to adapt physical poses for any body is critical for all yoga teachers who wish to offer an inclusive practice to their students. I would love to share my knowledge and experience with your yoga community through one of my accessible yoga trainings or workshops.
WORKSHOPS
Customizing Your Practice
Learn how to modify yoga asana to fit your body and needs. In this workshop, you’ll learn why it’s important to honor your body in yoga, how to avoid injury by not forcing yourself into a pose, and how to adapt poses so that they comfortable for you. We will breakdown the typical transitions in a practice and how to easily get from one pose to another in a vinyasa class without struggling. A special focus on props and how to use them to aid in your practice and also play with them to experience the poses in different ways. Bring Customizing Your Practice to your studio.
CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR YOGA TEACHERS

In this training we will discuss the importance of language in our classes, how to offer props and variations of asana to your students and how to teach a variety of abilities in a single class. This training is an excellent addition to your yoga teacher training (YTT) program, preparing your teacher trainees with knowledge of how to adapt their classes for every body that enters their yoga space.
